Advertiser Disclosure

Bill Reduction Institute is an independent, advertising-supported publisher. We want you to know exactly how we make money so you can judge our content with full information.

How we make money

  • Affiliate commissions. Some links on this site go to companies that pay us a commission if you sign up or buy. These links are free for you to use, and using them never increases your price.
  • Savings partners. If you ask for a free bill review and agree to be contacted, we may connect you with partners such as insurance agencies, energy providers, phone or internet providers, or bill negotiation services. Some of them pay us when you become their customer.
  • Advertising. We may show clearly labeled ads.

What partners do not get

Partners cannot pay to change what our guides say, to be called the best, or to have a competitor left out. Our do-it-yourself advice, such as calling your current provider to ask for a lower price, often means you will not use any partner at all, and that is fine with us.

How offers appear

Compensation may affect where and how offers appear on the site, for example the order in which offers are listed. We do not cover every company or every offer available in the market.

Our editorial standards

We describe typical prices as approximate ranges, avoid promising specific savings, and tell readers to confirm current prices and terms directly with the provider. Our calculators produce estimates for planning only.

Not advice

Our content is general information, not financial, legal, tax, medical or insurance advice. For decisions about your own situation, talk with a qualified professional or the provider directly.
